Gulfshore Endoscopy Center is an ambulatory surgical center. It is a state-of-the-art facility for the endoscopic evaluation of the gastrointestinal system.

Gastrointestinal endoscopy is a safe, effective means to examine both the upper GI tract (EGD) and lower digestive tract (colonoscopy) using flexible fiberoptic instruments. The interior surfaces of the digestive tract are inspected for signs of disease, including malignancy.

During the examination, sedation is administered by an anesthesiologist insuring a comfortable and safe experience.

CORONAVIRUS POLICIES & PROCEDURES:

  • Masks must be worn by patients and staff at all time. Staff will also wear gloves and change them for every new patient.

  • Unless you need physical assistance, please arrive to your appointment alone. Your loved one/assistant may join the appointment via phone.

  • Exam rooms will be disinfected between patient visits. Waiting rooms and general office areas will be cleaned frequently as well. It has always been our practice to sanitize and/or sterilize equipment before a new patient receives care.

  • We encourage use of hand sanitizer and hand washing upon entry.
